Sustainable Development & Urban Planning
Erick is from Caracas, Venezuela. He studied Urban Planning at Simon Bolivar University (USB). His passion is to analyze cities and contribute to the sustainable urban development of societies.
His undergraduate thesis consisted on elaborating an innovative methodology for the study of pedestrian mobility on a sectoral scale of the city, called “Estimación del Índice de Caminabilidad para el Sector de Obarrio en la Ciudad de Panamá”.
He won the first edition a municipal contest in Venezuela called "Hacedores de Cambio Sucre" with his project “BiciClaje, that includes cycling mobility and urban recycling. He also participated in the international competition “TIC Americas 2016”, reaching semifinals with his project “Espacios de Impacto”, that seeks the rescue of public spaces through specific urban interventions.
